Zach Butler
I am a Minneapolis-based photographer whose passion for design and photography sparked while studying at the University of Minnesota. I was working on my undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Studies and I had to build a 3D cardboard model which evolved into an uncanny outline of the state of Minnesota. From there I started designing and printing MN-themed t-shirts and quickly became fascinated with the visual arts. This led me to pick up a camera in 2014 and I haven't put it down since.
Nowadays people are so busy with their lives that they are continuously moving. I want to make people stop and take a second look at something they see every day. I want them to see the beauty of our world through a different lens...the way I see it. I'm excited by pushing the boundaries of reality and allowing my mind to run wild. There's no limit to what one can create - and that's what drives me.
